Shelf is a twist on reading applications. It allows the reader to keep a digital catalog of all books, both digital and physical. The app encourages sharing with others and making friends.

The Problem
The problem I am trying to solve is finding books in every form and where to purchase or read them. Currently Barnes and Noble, one of the largest American based book sellers, has no mobile interface effectively recording the stock of books. Amazon’s mobile Kindle application effectively provides books in a comprehensive marketplace, but primarily for Ebook and their own exclusive audio book subsription Audible.
